The Congress WBN Global Communications & Technology (GCT) sector works closely with Governments and Institutions across the world to design and deliver relevant, customized input, advice, ICT-based solutions and initiatives. GCT draws from its global pool of professional strategists, software developers, network engineers, multimedia specialists, analysts, and policy writers to assist Governments and organizations in meeting the challenges of modern governance. Services provided include capacity building workshops, policy review, software development, programme development and solutions-design. Congress WBN Technology Initiatives are designed to highlight the ethical platforms necessary for the effective application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in every sphere of endeavor.
QUICK FACTS
- Congress WBN has been developed a suite of online tools called the Synapse Multimedia Platform delivers services that range from conducting global meetings to delivering on-demand multimedia content.
- C-WBN conducts seminars designed to provide an understanding of the role ICT and e-Government in the public sector.
- C-WBN works closely with the Caribbean Telecommunications Union and its members states to design and execute the Caribbean ICT Roadshow. The objective of the initiative is to raise awareness within the public & private sector, civil society and academia, of the innovative approaches for ICTs in government, business and social development.
