Ethical Initiatives for Nations Development

Community Transformation

“Transforming the communities where people live is pivotal to creating a context in which human potential and creativity are harnessed for wider national development.”

-Dr. Noel Woodroffe

EMPOWER Development is the sector within Congress WBN that coordinates human development projects initiated by residents from communities in different countries around the world.

EMPOWER identifies, designs, and administers select community projects and programs both locally and abroad. It also takes a primary role in locating and directing funds towards viable community projects.

EMPOWER project coordinators are local leaders who are acutely aware of neighborhood needs and are therefore able to identify appropriate, sustainable solutions for their communities.

EMPOWER ensures that all selected projects are administered in accordance with the very highest ethical standards thereby optimizing maximum impact on human development.
